Goodbye Old Friend. We will always be grateful for the memories you've given us. The time has come for you to rest, and for us to build new, energy efficient memories!
The "true" demo begins...
One last family picture!
I thought Austin would be so excited to see the "big machine" at our house. He could have cared less!
Still so bored...
Time to make the first trip to the landfill...
Still not impressed...
There goes the condooo, Austin's room and upstairs...
Houses aren't forever, but Families are...
The kitchen was the last piece to go. Everyone was a little nervous during this part because of how close it was to the garage.
Less then two hours later....
...and Austin was still less then impressed...
I woke up this morning wondering if all of this really happened yesterday! Everyone keeps asking me if it was sad to see it go. I'll have to admit that while it was touching (or maybe emotional?), it wasn't what I would call "sad." I guess sadness has really been put into perspective for our family over the past five months. We all know that this was just a house - boards, bricks and nails - Those things might be gone, but no one can take the memories and love away from us. We're all very excited for the new memories to come!Bring on the bids... and anxiety pills!
