First Labor Day Weekend

Happy Labor Day everyone! I had a great first Labor Day weekend. I started Saturday with a nice bath. I'm really starting to enjoy bath time. Even when Mom dumps water on my head. Saturday afternoon I got to meet my Great-Grandpa Kiefer for the first time. After that I hung out with my girlfriends -- Kylie, Makayla and MacKenzie. Kylie likes to call me "baby boy." Makayla and MacKenzie just call me handsome! ;) I have a feeling those twin girls are going to give a run for my money when we get older!

Sunday Mommy and Grandma Salger took me on a field trip. I thought I was in Washington, DC. but Mom told me were just in Hecker. Apparently this is a Vietnam War Memorial replica. I can't wait to visit the real thing some day. Mommy said that her and Daddy drove to see Kylie, Makayla and Mackenzie's Mommy and Daddy when they lived near DC. She said we'd be flying the next time we go back!

Sunday evening we had dinner at Aunt B's. I wasn't too sure about my first run in with a cow. Grandpa promised me she was friendly.
Here I am with my Aunt B. I just love her so much.
They always like to dress me up. Last night I got to pretend to be a cowboy.
Today is the first day of Dove Season. I made sure I was up at 4:45 to see my Dad off. I can't wait until I get to go with him. Mommy has been looking all morning for some camo that fits me.
Happy Labor Day! Love, Austin
