Trike

We're trying to take full advantage of the last few "warm" evenings. Soon we'll be back to pushing the trike, wagon and tractor around the garage.
Austin loves the trike Nana and Pa gave him for his first birthday.
The only thing it needs is a horn...

Bye-Bye Baby Tub!

Austin has officially out grown his baby tub. We were more then happy to get that thing out of the bathroom. It had definitely seen its better days!
The tubs "fills" as the he waits...
What in the world? Where's my tub?
This is fun! Yay! {clap clap}
Getting his hair washed is a little bit of a challenge, but I think we'll get it eventually. His Dad thinks maybe we need buy him goggles and a nose plug!

15 Months Old

Austin, at 15 months...

You cover your eyes when we ask "where is Austin?"

You love to throw food.

You use a plate at dinner but you're still trying to figure out your spoon and fork.

Your favorite food is "ish" (Goldfish) - Cheese, Chocolate or S'mores!Corn is your favorite vegetable.

Getting into the cabinets, toilet and trash is a favorite past time.

We used up all of your diaper money on your 14-month birthday! Time for you to get a job!
You hog the bed.

You love when Dad throws you in the air and mom screams that "that's too high!"

You're a biter

You can't resits your Mama's hair.
You've added Shoe, Horse and Sheep to your vocab. (We can understand them anyway!)

Anything with wheels is a truck!

You blow on anything we say is hot. Lamps, outlets, etc!
Your 15 Month Stats:
Head: 19 1/2" - 95% - (Up 1/2 inch)
Weight: 25 lbs and 12 oz - 65% - (Up 2 lbs)
Length: 32 3/4" - 95% - (Up 1 inch)

Your pediatrician, Dr. Kellow, said you're growing up to be a very strong little boy! He also thinks you'll be running by the time we see him again. We're doing everything we can to make sure he's right!

We love you!

Mr. & Mrs. Coats - 10.10.09

We attended the prettiest fall wedding last weekend. There was so much thought put into every little detail. From the ribbons in the brides hair...to the yummy pecans at the reception. Everything was done so nice!
Of course I stressed and stressed about what everyone was going to wear. I needed a purple dress, Dad needed a new tie and Austin needed an entire ensemble. Everything finally came together after a late-night run to Wal-Mart for size 5 dress shoes for Austin. I was so worried he'd have to end up in light-up Bob The Builder shoes but wouldn't you know that Wal-Mart has shoes just as cute at The Children's Place. We should have looked there first! Austin loved them so much that insisted we shouldn't hide them under the table. He wanted them displayed on the table where everyone could see!
Of course we forgot to take a family picture! Good thing we got a good one with Nana and Pa!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Coats! Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!
